2023 GiESCO greetings 

It is with great pleasure that the presidents of GiESCO and the members of the animation cell for the organization of the 22nd congress, wish you a good year 2023, on the double professional and personal level.

After the episodes of the COVID pandemic of 2020 and 2021, scientific exchanges have been progressively regularized in 2022, in particular with the organization of several face-to-face congresses in the field of vine and wine sciences and techniques sectors.

Our next congress will take place from July 17 to 21, 2023, in Ithaca (Cornell University, USA). The organizing committee is now well organized, the website is operational, registration is open and the submission of abstracts is underway (https://cals.cornell.edu/giesco).

We have already collected a large number of abstracts with a good diversity of topics, which suggests a very good multidisciplinary congress. A scientific committee gathering a wide range of scientific expertises on the themes of the GiESCO has been constituted to select and organize at the best the proposals of presentations. The modalities of participation and the dead-lines are detailed on the dedicated website (https://cals.cornell.edu/giesco).

We hope to see many of you at our next congress and we are looking forward to the scientific and technical exchanges on this occasion.
