On July 2, 2025, Richard Smart passed away. Our community owes him a special tribute given his fame. Allow me to do so on behalf of all GiESCO colleagues, based on my personal experience.
First and foremost, our condolences go to his family: his wife Bernice and their children Rachel and Jeremy.
