Analyse des choix de terroirs naturels, de cépages, de techniques viticoles et oenologiques

Cet article présente quatre eaux-de-vie de vins mondiales et réputées : Cognac, Armagnac, Pisco péruvien et Pisco chilien. Il détaille les raisons historiques et économiques qui ont conduit à la production et au développement de ces eaux-de-vie, puis les choix techniques en viticulture et en oenologie qui permettent d'élaborer des eaux-de-vie de qualité. Enfin, un aperçu du cadre économique et institutionnel de ces eaux-de-vie sera présenté.
 

The productions of brandies in the world :
Analysis of the choices of natural terroirs, varieties, viticultural and oenological techniques

This article presents four worldwide and well-know brandies, which are : Cognac, Armagnac, Peruvian and Chilean Pisco. Historical and economic reasons of the development of these brandies will be examined. To understand the elaboration of these products, we will go through technical choices in viticulture and oenology. To finish, we will have a look at the economic and institutional situation of these alcoholic beverages.
