Abstract: The table grape export business in Argentina had its boom in the last 2000s, when in 2008 it reached a little more than US $ 88,000,000. Since that time, the volume exported has been systematically reduced, which reduced the cultivated area and / or modified its destiny to wine or raisin production. In this context the domestic market of Argentina appears as an option to support this productive sector. The objective of this work is to analyze the potential of this market to give sustainability to the producers. Primary and secondary sources were used for the development of the work. The analysis of the internal market, for the period 2002 to 2016, shows a loss of the proportion of wine grapes as Cereza and Moscatel in the whole period. This shows that, given the restrictions on entering foreign markets with export grapes, the producers turned over some of that volume to the domestic market. Even so, there is still 30% of the market that is supplied with varieties that are not specific for fresh consumption, such as those mentioned. As a conclusion, it is seen that consumers accept the change of varieties that are not specific to fresh consumption by those that are, therefore, table grape producers have future possibilities to supply this market. However, primary production presents diseconomies of scale, implying that small and medium producers will be more competitive in this market.
